Lotus Acqua Pro Water-Based Fabric Protector 5 L Lotus

Lotus Acqua Pro is a water-based fabric protector from Lotus that provides a water-repellent effect to the fabric, delaying the penetration of water-based liquids, preventing stains on the fibers and facilitating the cleaning and maintenance of the fabric. Its water-based formula makes it safer to use, as it is non-flammable and has a low odor.

Application:

- It is used to waterproof upholstered furniture, chairs, fabric car seats and other textile surfaces.

Instructions for use:

- Product ready to use.
- Make sure that the surface to be applied is clean, dry and free from washing residue or residue from the textile industry itself.
- Apply LÓTUS ACQUA-PRO at a distance of 15 to 20 cm from the fabric using a fan jet nozzle at 3 psi pressure if there is a pressure gauge, using wide movements and constant speed, ensuring that the entire surface is evenly covered.
- Preferably, apply the fabric horizontally and vertically in a checkerboard pattern.
- Apply reinforcement to areas of greatest contact such as arms, seats and backrests. Avoid excess.
- After application, wait up to 12 to 24 hours for the product to dry at room temperature (we recommend using drying accelerators such as air turbines, professional dryers with hot or cold air on rainy and humid days).
- If necessary, apply two or more applications to obtain better results, waiting for drying time between applications. Once the upholstery has dried, it can be used again.
- Complete curing is achieved 72 hours after the last application (in raw cotton fabrics the liquid penetration time is longer than in other fabrics).
- After complete curing of 72 hours, perform a repellency test using a few droplets of water.
- If there is absorption in the applied area, reapply another layer of waterproofing. Reapplication should be carried out whenever necessary, or after natural wear and tear and ineffectiveness of the protection, apply in adequately ventilated areas.
- We also recommend using the Guarany pump or similar.
- We recommend washing the upholstery before applying the waterproofing agent using PRE IMPER LÓTUS, using the product in your last rinse water or separately, performing an efficient extraction in order to leave the fabric with the least possible moisture. It will neutralize the fabric by regulating its pH and eliminating any surfactant that could interfere with good waterproofing, providing greater anchoring of the waterproofing agent.
